The wedding of The beautiful Caitriona & Ronan had amazing settings, I really wish we could have said similar about the weather on the day but that was not to be! Ballintubber Abbey & Knockranny House Hotel are two top wedding venues on the Mayo wedding scene. My day started with preps of both the bubbly bride and the dapper groom overlooking the town of westport at Knockranny. When I arrived at the abbey, you could hear the rain hammering off the roof, the wind was also exceptional, needless to say, a quick dash to the door ready for the nuptials! Some time ago, I used to dread bad weather weddings, but in reality it usually allows me to be a little more creative with some interior images in the venue or church as it happens. A few quick portraits and we were back to capturing the natural side of the drinks reception and the rest of the celebrations!
